Negotiations fail.. Eleventh hour attempts to reach a contract settlement between Decor Metal Products and Local 1411 of the United Auto Workers failed over the past weekend, resulting in strike action being instituted by the local against !hree Midland plants operated by Decor. His parents, his brother Bill, his sisters Ruth and Mary, predeceased him. Surviving him are his wife, Elizabeth Sibbald, his sons Richard and David, both of Regina, his grandchildren Kenneth Richard and Timmy Ra-Anne, his brothers Jack of Penetanguishene, Pat of Midland, Murray of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., his sisters Irene of Kingston and Margaret of Midland, and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral mass was held June 6 in Holy Child Roman Catholic Church with Rev. L.
