It is time to elect the 1984 Executive in order that preparations be made for next season. This past year, the executive was ex- tremely -- shorthanded and several divisions did not operate ef- ficiently as a result. 1984 looks even bleaker as some executive members will not be returning and so far nO One appears in- terested in assuming the responsibilities, The more manpower recruited, will enable every division to be organized more smoothly as each person would have fewer responsibilities and therefore more time to accomplish any duties. There are many problems' with the MMBA as many of you reading this know. The difficulties will not solve themselves, but unless you are willing to "'set involved" the problems will continue to grow and multiply. Now is the time to act, not talk. Next year's season, if there is to be One, is in your hands. If the numbers at the meeting are few, the Executive of 1983 may assume that the parents of this town do not wish for baseball to continue in the town of Midland. Penetang's accom- plishments oversee the loss in the consolation final, to Alliston. PSS S qualify Sound proved to be no match for the mighty St. T's squad.
