Last Thursday the St. Theresa's cross country team competed in Orillia at Bass Lake apainst teams from other area schools. The participation level was low due to two things; the STHS cross country and the Zone 2 tennis tournament were held earlier in the week. race Because of the low participation level, only three full teams, midget girls and midget and senior boys, took part. Midget girls did well. Denise Laurin and the team placed sixth. Betty Cousineau came 18th, and the team score for the race was. 106 points. Team score for the midget boys was 198. In open girls com- petition, Maureen Jaeger in eighth, and Elizabeth Bourgeois in 23rd were the only Crusaders entered. The senior boys did very well with the help of junior runners Kevin Belcourt and Keith Proulx. These --two juiniors ran the senior course sO STHS would have a full team.
