Sunday afternoon football Here's a shot from last Sunday's opening day action in the Penetang-Midland Touch Football League. Action resumes each Sunday afternoon at the Midland Secon- dary School and Penetang Secondary School football fields. The show that ran in New York and Los Angeles for years and was recently made into a major motion picture will be done with equal vim, vigour and vitality at MSS, Feb. 1--4, 1984. This large and lavish production, which will involve a cast and crew of over 50 students will be quite an undertaking for the directors, Ray Holt is coming to MSS Feb. 1-4 next year and Phyl McCullough; what with many solo and large chorus numbers and dozens of technical details to be perfected. So, do plan on an evening of delightful musical-- drama entertainment with some very talented MSS actors, actresses and musicians, to be chosen during auditions next week at the school. Kids from 1--101 will be sure to enjoy the show, which is suitable for the entire family. Details will follow as the production dates draw near, such as ticket prices and outlets. See you there! Plans shaping up for Fall Fair Centennial and Hillsdale will be mar- ching in the parade, which begins at 1 p.m. at H.C.E.S. On Friday evening, at 8 p.m., the rock band Plans for the 1983 Fall Fair are well underway, beginning with the Friday School Parade. Elmvale District High School, Our Lady of Lourdes, Huronia KAOS will play, Queen contest follows at followed by Denim at 8:45. 8:15 Denim is a group of eight domestic engineers from Oro Township, who play guitars and banjos and sing 'fun songs'.
