SE Fe RAE Oe oe 60th wedding anniversary celebrated On June 13, 1923, Lorne Ernest Tinney married Eva Margret McWatters. Family and friends gathered then to wish them a long and happy married life. They have lived in Medonte Township all of their lives and have raised six children: Ray, Vera, Bruce, Shirley, Connie and Bev. On June 11, 1983, their sons and daughters and their families and friends gathered to wish them much happiness and health on their 60th wedding anniversary. An afternoon tea and evening dance was heldyn their honour at the community centre in Hillsdale. There was a family dinner held at the Hillsdale United Church. Their six children and their families as well as Mrs. Beatrice Miller, who was Eva Tinney's bridesmaid, Mrs. Tinney's brother Ed and his wife Elizabeth, Mrs. Tinney's sister Ilene Strath, Mr. Tinney's sisters Mrs. Gert McLeod and Mrs. Eva McFarland and Rev.
