Oldtimers - silence the Sound Midland Oldtimers' hockey team was at it again last Sunday morning when they took on Parry Sound at Centennial Arena. Parry Sound is coached by ex- Midland Oldtimer Jim Tumber. Midland was less than hospitable, as they thrashed the visitors 9-4. Midland led the whole way, as they built leads of 2-0 and 5-2 at the intermissions. Leading the scoring parade were Keith Bath, Bill Gray, and Harvey Benoit, each with a pair of goals. Dennis Lemieux, John Weber, and George Dunn scored one each. Gray and Lemieux both tacked on a pair of helpers and Billy Knibbs had three assists. There were also two assists credited to Harvey Benoit, but the sig sheet appeared to be tampered with.
