Reeve David Walker in his farewell address to members of council, staff and former reeve Charles Rawson referred to the number of projects which have been completed during his term and some of which are still ongoing. Reeve Walker added some personal comments on his leaving Council on a positive note that he will now be able to direct more energy and time to his personal and business life; he congratulated Reeve-Elect Bruce Tinney on his election and then commented to each member of Council as to their duration and ex- perience on Council. Deputy-Reeve Bill Gibson responded to Reeve Walker's com- ments by acknowledging his com- ments were appreciated by all con- cerned and that he has been a most capable participator on Council, knowledgeable of all facets of all Council business and his ac- complishements have been monumental "financially". p Former Reeve Charles Rawson Tinney then added that he will try to give his best over the next term of Council.
