AMANT In this article I would like to conclude my discussion on the gymnasts who will be representing the Hurons this weekend in Toronto. The remaining five girlsare all in the Argo category. This division is for gymnasts who are under 12 years of age as of January 1 of the competitive season. The Argo category has three divisions. Argo "C"' is for gymnasts who are competing in the Ontario Gymnastics Federation for the first time. We have three girls in this level. They are Sherri Deschamps, Krista Crawford and Aimee French. The Argo "'B"' division is for gymnasts who are in their second or third year of competition at the O.G.F. level. Norma Milligan and Christina Turner will be representing the Hurons in this category. We have no one in the Argo "A"' division. COMPETITORS -- ARGO C This is Sherri's first year of competition at the O.G.F. level, therefore she is in the "C"' category. Presently, this 10-year-old is at- tending grade five at Parkview P.S. She has been with the Hurons for the past two years. She has competed in several meets in the past at both the school and pre-competitive level. This talented gymnast also enjoys skaling, skiing and plays the piano. Krista Crawford is alo in the Argo "C"' category. This 10-year-old gymnast is in Grade five at Victoria Harbour PS. Although this is her second year with the Hurons, she has been making good progress. Krista has limited experience competing only in one or two meets last season. We are hoping that she will benefit from the meets that she will participate in this year. \ new member of our team this year is to T.O. this weekend Aimee French. This 10-year-old travels regularly from Orillia to practice with our club. Although she has little or no competitive experience we are confident that whe will have a very successful year. This talented individual is also actively involved in dance and enjoys the piano. COMPETITORS -- ARGO "B"' Norma Milligan will be competing in the Argo B category. Because of her competition last year she must compete at the "'B"' level. Norma is in Grade six at Huron Park. Last season this 11-year-old did very well. We are extremely pleased with her progress and feel that with hard work she could be one of our top gymnasts. We are hoping that she will make the provincial team this year. Ten-year-old Christina Turner will also be travelling to Toronto to represent the Hurons. She will be competing in the-Argo B level. Presently she attends Victoria Harbour P.S. in Grade five. This hard-working gymnast did very well last season. We are hoping for bigger and better things from her this year. She is also involved in many other activities. She enjoys music as well as skiing, skating and swimming. We would like to wish all of the competitors the very best of luck for this weekend's meet.
