New water system The community of Waubaushene in Tay Township is now enjoying the benefits of a new water system that has replaced an antiquated system originally installed many years ago by a lumbering company. The five year long _ project commenced at a special meeting held at the Tay Township offices on April 28, 1977. The Ministry would no longer be un- dertaking such projects and it would be up to Tay Township to be responsible for the undertaking on its own. It was now up to Tay Township to start from scratch. With the project now resting firmly on Township Council's shoulders, the first priority was to hire an engineering firm to design the system.
