The Bomberettes came up with an 8-6 victory over Hot Stuff with good offensive hustle on the part of first-baseman Dorothy Cumming, who stole third and home in the sixth inning, and good defensive action from fielder Jane Salisbury, who caught fly balls to ensure the final outs in the fifth and sixth in- nings. came from catcher Anita Weatherall, who hit a two-run homer in the sixth inning, and short stop, Bev Greenwood, who was instrumental in putting out five Bomberette players in four different innings. On the second diamond the Go-Getters defeated Mad Rush by a score of 16-10. Third baseman Leslie Millward hit a home run in the first inning to start things off for the Go-Getters. Penny Laurin 'made a couple of good catches in left field to put out batters in the nings.
