Sabres, Don's stay alive Join six top squads in PIBHL quarter-final openers tomorrow The Surplus Plus Sabres and _ Don's Janitorial advanced into the Penetang-Midland Ball Hockey League semi-finals after elimination-round _ vic- tories Monday at Penetanguishene Arena. League play ended Sunday and the top six clubs, led by regular- season champion and league defending champion Ron's Con- fectionary, automati- cally gained entry into the quarter-final round. The four clubs below them vied for the two other quarter-final spots and the 11th-place club, the Mink Insurance Royals, were eliminated fight off the bat.
