Tops target this year Dear Editor: On behalf of the Canadian Cancer Society I would like (o express our gratitude to the people of this district for not only meeting our goal of $32,000 bui by surpassing it. In these times of high inflation and the great amount of unemployment in the area it is especially encouraging thal people still realize the greai need (0 fight such a dread disease as cancer. Without the help of many people who gave much of their time and effort the campaign could never have been so successful. The Quota Club, as in other years spearheaded our campaign with the daffodil drive. The campaign committees, can- vass Organizers and canvassers themselves worked very hard and diligently putting in many hours of their time to make our campaign a suc- cess. Most important of all are the people who gave so generously when the canvassers knocked on their doors. If anyone was missed and would still like to donate, it is never too late. Simply drop in to see Norm Ranson, manager of the Toronto Dominion Bank and he will be glad to accept any further donations. Thank you again and please know that we will continue the fight with your help to prove that "CANCER CAN BE BEATEN"'. --Arlene Eason Publicity Chairperson Friendly people to serve you at Bay Pharmacy Whether you're PER ANNUM looking for a card for that special w Fixed term: 1 year occasion or one of a Interest paid annually w Iransferable but not redeemable the many gift and before maturity everyday items in aw Term Notes issued in multiples of $1,000, minimum investment $1,000 = More details on this and other high yield investments available at any branch of The Bank of Nova Scotia our store, Karen is here to help you Karen Amos BAY PHARMACY 88 Main St., Penetanguishene | "A friendly Place to Shop" 949-2332 Unwanted Hair Gone Forever Facial Hair Removed Bikini Line Refined Arm, Chest, Back Hair Removed Eyebrows Arched and Shaped Hairline Permanently Contoured Ingrown Hairs Treated GOODMAN CLINIC OF ELECTROLYSIS 'Issued by Scotia Mortgage Corporation and uncon- '| ditionally guaranteed by The Bank of Nova Scotia.
