Returning this week from Winnipeg Lit. and Mrs. Ray Braddock of Midland will be returning later this week io town after attending the Salvation Army's Centennial Congress in Winnipeg. The congress was called to celebrate the Salvation Army's 100th anniversary. The Midland Salvation Army, which Li. Ray Braddock commands, is marking its 97th birthday in North Simcoe. Obituary Alma Dupuis Longtime Penetan- guishene resident Alma Dupuis has died sud- denly in her 78th year, on June 19, 1982. The former Alma _ Genier, who lived at 26 Gignac Drive, passed away in Penelanguishene General Hospital. Her sons Armand of Penelanguishene, Martial of Lafontaine, and Dennis of Burlington, and her daughters Beatrice (Mrs. Ron Toole) of Midland, Anita (Mrs. Edgar Moreau) of Parry Sound, and Patricia (Mrs. Paul Maurice) of Lafontaine, survive her, also her brother Armand of RR 1, Perkinsfield, and her sister Cecile (Mrs Willard Parent) of Penetanguishene. She had 24 grandchildren. Her husband, Oswald, died in 1973. Also predeceasing her were her brothers Honore and Albert Genier, and her sisters Mrs. Alexina Vaillancourt and Mrs. Marie Lalumiere. Rev. L. Dignard of- ficialed at the funeral mass held in St. Ann's Memorial Church, Penetanguishene, on June 21. Interment in St. Ann's Cemetery. The late Alma Dupuis was the daughter of Eloi Genier and Virginia Hamelin. Born ana raised in Lafontaine, she lived for most of her married life in Penetanguishene. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne, and a member of the Penetanguishene Senior Citizens Club. Her grandsons Tom Dupuis, Rick Dupuis, Michael Moreau, John Moreau, Tom Toole, and Tim Toole were her pallbearers.
