The late Mr. Grier was 71 years of age at the time of his death. Evelyn Thompson Evelyn Thompson of Midland Bay Woods died suddenly on April 4, clergyman. Interment in Vasey Union Cemetery. The former Dorothy Jones was in her 77th year when she died on April 28 in Huronia Districi Hospital following iwo days illness. Her sons Dale Williamston, Ont., and Kale of Mount St. Louis, and her daughter Jane Jamieson of Toronto, and her sister Irene (Mrs. Frank Wilford) of Midland survive her. She had nine grand- children. Her husband, William Howard Miller, died in 1973. Other members of her family who predeceased her were Katharine, Walter, Nelson, Earl and Graham. The late Dorothy Miller was born in Tay Township, the daughter of Levi Jones and Jane Dalton. She was educated at Riverside Public School in Tay Township, Midland High School, and Toronto Normal School. She was a teacher at Rosemount, Hawthorne, Mount Forest, Durham, Holstein, Mount St. Louis, and Moonstone, and a homemaker. She retired in 1970. Mount St. Louis was her home since her marriage on Oct. 22, 1932, in Hillsdale, to - hers William Miller. She was -a member of Moonstone _'-- Presbyte- rian Church. She belonged to the Moonstone .Women's Association and the Superannuated Teac- Association of Ontario. late James and Pearl Courtney. He spent his boyhood in Minesing on a farm. Attended Minesing public school. On Dec. 2, 1933. he married Mildred Wright of Elmvaie. In March 1935 they moved to a farm in Flos Township. He farmed there for a number of years. Barrie Tanning Ltd. and was employed there for nearly 25 years. In 1954 he purchased a farm on the 4th Con. of he sold out and retired from farming due to ill health, but remained on the farm. He is survived by his Phelpston, and Mrs. D. Burger (Marion), of Stroud. A daughter, Cora, predeceased him in Douglas Burger. Alsoa sister, Mrs. B. Puncher, Kitchener.
