Last chance for the Mets This evening is the last chance for some young men hoping to make the Elmvale Mets of the Simcoe County Rural Fastball League to impress the coach and manager with their ability, as cuts begin tomorrow. The Mets first regular game will be in Midland on May 28. There were nine teams in the league last year. 65 out & about About 65 boys turned out last Monday evening at a soccer practice at Elmvale District High School. Elmvale soccer team executive members' will be meeting some time this week to make up teams. The next practice is next Monday. The Peewee baseball team still needs a coach.
