Susan Lamers and Wayne Cadieux were runners-up in the mixed doubles event of last week's competition and Kelly Swales and Patti Cox finished second in the girls' doubles event. The top two in each event at the GB's earned the right to compete in Monday's provincial champion- ships at Queen's University in Kingston. Lamers and Cadeau were defeated 15-6, 15-8 by Jane and Andrew Mathieson of Markham Secondary School in last Thursday's final at ESPSS. Swales and Cox were dumped 15-10, 15-1 by Janet McRuer and Colleen McKeown of Banting Memorial Secondary School of Alliston in the girls' doubles final at MSS.
