Last week at the Midland Y, the Keegos assisted the Elementary schools of the area in their Annual School Swim Meet. On April 3, Special Olympics swimming is being held at the Midland YMCA. The Huronia Association for the Mentally Retarded have asked the Keego swimmers and parents for assistance as of- ficials. The Keegos travel to Muskoka on April 4th for a Developmental Meet and on April 16 - 18 they will compete in the Ontario Championships in Toronto. May 2is also a date to mark on your calendar: this is the annual "'Swim-a-thon", the major fund-raising event for the Midland Y Keegos and the s & Canadian Amateur Swimming Association. The day is composed of two events, a '""Swim- a-thon by the Keegos and a Celebrity Swim. The final event of the year is the Midland Invitational Swim on May 15-16. This fall the Midland Y Keegos are im- plementing a new program developed by the Canadian Amateur Swimming Association and sponsored' by Imperial Oil. The purpose of ESSO Swim Canada is to provide an opportunity for Canadian youths to further their interest, It's all for fund Sunday The Penetanguishene Minor Hockey Association will be holding a Lap-a-thon from 5 p.m. Penetanguishene Arena.
