Mrs. Pauline Hamelin staged a surprise party for her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Horsefall, on March 13. The Horsefalls' have their Silver Anniversary coming up very soon. A few close friends and relatives were invited to help celebrate. The Wyevale Free Methodist Church was host to a group of Youing People, on March 13. They hailed 3Xand Barrie. $200 raised from Huntsville, Orillia The day was spent at the Orange Centre, with an_ in- teresting program of games and fellowship. Everyone brought sack lunches for noon, then Kentucky Fried Chicken and salads was the dinner menu. A film in the evening, Where Eagles Fly, ended a most enjoyable day. The Wyevale Recreation Group Committee is busy selling tickets for their dance, March 27. Ten counts of break, enter, theft laid by police forces A Midland area man, Rory Smith, 17, has been charged with three counts of break, enter, and theft, and one count of failing to appear for fingerprints, by the Midland OPP, and, by the Midland town police, with four counts of break, enter, and theft, one count concerning a Street residence, and three counts concerning a Gloucester Dominion residence. Jim Thompson, 16, of Eighth Street, Midland, has also been charged by the Midland OPP with one count of break, enter, and theft, and, by the Midland town police, with two more counts, in connection with a Dominion Avenue residence. The break, enter, and theft charges against Smith laid by the OPP: Avenue®* result from three separate break-ins of a _ Centennial Drive, * Sunnyside residence, on March, 10, March 8, and Feb. 26. Slightly more than $200 in property was taken in total from the Sunnyside house. The four break-ins of the Gloucester Street and Dominion Avenue residences took place between Jan. 16 and March 4. \ Community saddened by loss by Jeanne Webb Wyevale Community was saddened by the loss of one of its well known and loved senior citizens. Mr. Walter Webb, of the 4th Con- cession of Tiny, beloved husband of Iva Large, passed away at Penelanguishene General Hospital on March 15. The funeral service was held at the Lynn Funeral Home _ in The Wyevale Recreation Group is busy selling tickets for their dance, March 27. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Hastings have just returned from two weeks in Florida. They both have brought back a good share of Florida tan with them. Mr. and Mrs. William Horsefall were pleasantly surprised on the evening of March 16. Several friends and neighbours popped in on them to help celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. The community presented them with a lovely plant made into a money tree, also two family photo frames. Everyone enjoyed a social evening, along with the lunch plus the Mr. George Prince, a former resident of Wyevale, passed away March 18, in his 8ist year. Solicitor gets his marching orders Douglas Haig, solicitor for the Town of Midland has_ been directed to file an Appearance on behalf of the town and clerk and to inform the town's insurers of a writ of summons and statement of claim against the town.
