Due to the large number's of gymnasts in our club, we have over 25 coaches on staff. Many of these are secondary school Fee & Time structure is as follows: 1) Advanced is $18.00 for 10 weeks. section runs Tues. and Thurs. from 5:30- This students who have an interest in the sport. Here are eight who have been involved with the Huron's for several years. In response to the many inquiries about registration for the second session, I am making the following information available: Registration for the Advanced, Developmental and Kinder-Gym sections will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 6 at Corpus Christi Pubidic School in Penetanguishene, between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. Please note that those who have registered for the full year do not have to re-register. 7:30 at Parkview P.S. in Midland. The first night is Tues., Jan. 12, 1982. 2) The Developmental Program is $15.00 for 10 weeks. This program runs Wed- nesday evenings from 5:30-7:30 at Park- view P.S. This section starts on Wed- nesday Jan. 13th, 1982. 3) The Kinder-Gym (Primary) section runs on Mon. evening and costs $15.00 for 10 weeks. This level starts on Mon., Jan. lith, 1982 at Parkview P.S. Time is 5:30- 7:30. In all our programs there are a limited number of openings. I'm afraid it will be first come, first serve. S Midland's late goal ties Dutcher and Corbett On Dec. 18, the Elmvale Dutcher and Corbett Insurance Peewees hosted Midland. A late goal by Midland gave them a 3-3 tie with Elmvale. Elmvale opened up the scoring just 12 seconds into the game when Jerry Bowen scored, assisted by Landon French. Midland tied the game before the end of the second period and then they went ahead early in. the third period. Elmvale came back with two goals to take the lead. The first one scored by Donnie Robertson, assisted by James Elliott and Derek Haines, then Andrew Bantams tie, win On Dec. 18 Elmvale Bantam A's hosted Oro. The two teams fought to a 3-3 tie. Oro jumped out to a 2- 0 lead after one period but Elmvale came back with a goal at the 6:57 mark of the second period when James Murden scored from Greg Miller. Oro came back with a goal before the period ended. Elmvale came back with two goals in the third period to tie the game. The first came from Paul Bumstead, assisted by Greg Miller, and then Shayne Large scored, assisted by Charlie King and Greg Dixon. Then on Sunday, Elmvale travelled to Midland where they defeated the home squad 4-0. Elmvale goals came from Greg _ Dixon, Charlie King, Jeff Conn and Paul Bumstead. Stoneleigh Midgets spit games The Stoneleigh Motors Minor Midget team split a pair of games played in the Wasaga Beach Regional Silver Stick tournament earlier this week, losing to MacTier 8-4 Sunday and winning 4-3 over Schomberg on Monday. Midland's Jim Edgar was chosen the most valuable player in the game against MacTier. Goal scorers for Midland, in addition to Edgar, were Gary Mecllravey, Mike Edgar, Ste MVPs agloughiin and Kevin Thomas. Assist earners were Edgar, Steve Bisson and Tom Hook, Marlon Geiseler, and Mark DeGagne. Eleven minor penalties were assessed against Midland, for a total of 22 minutes. Then on _ Sunday, Elmvale travelled to Owen Sound where they were defeated 5-2. Elmvale's goals came from Scott Collins, assisted by Andrew Moreau, and Donnie Robertson, who scored from James Elliott and Kevin Hubbard. Ken Cripps was in the net for Elmvale. During the holidays, Elmvale has_ been participating in a tournament in Honeywood.
