by Murray Moore At the Jan. 12 meeting of Elmvale village council, the village building inspector, Roger Neal, alleged to council that Elmvale's reeve had instructed him to issue a building permit on a piece of construction already in progress. Joyce Currie of Elmvale was selected ' Parent of the Year by the Barrie chapter of Parents Without Part- ners. Flos Township Deputy-Reeve Donald Bell received the Royal Bank of Canada Silver Tray Award at a Huronia Dairy Herd Improvement Assoc- iation banquet.
