This valuable trophy was presented to the local club by the Sterling Trust Cor- poration for annual club competition and was played for last Satur- day. Play got underway at 10 a.m. and consisted of three 12-end games with Kings' games set for week:= end Penetanguishene Jr. C Kings hockey club have set dates for exhibition games in order to give their players some on- ice experience before the new Georgian Bay hockey season gets under way. The first exhibition game will be held Saturday in Penetanguishene Arena, their opponents being a visiting team from Buffalo, N.Y., that game at 8 p.m. A second game against that team will be played Sunday af- ternoon at 1 p.m. again in Penetanguishene Arena. Bradford Blues will also be coming to town next Friday for an exhibition game, that match at 8:30 p.m. Training camp for the Kings will continue tonight, tomorrow night and Friday night, game times al 7 p.m. Further dates for training camps are Sept. 22, 23 and 24 at 7 p.m. Anyone interested in further information on training camps can contact Peter Dubeau at 549-8084. Registration is open to anyone over 15 years old and you must be able to swim at least one length of the pool.
