Watson's Ladies Wear, Elmvale ben em 8 i SS SSS LL: or SSSa The streets of Elmvale are expected to be crowded this week during community's three-day sidewalk sale which rolls into high gear tomorrow at 6 p.m. Stores will remain open until 10 p.m. both tomorrow and Friday evenings and until 6 p.m. Saturday. The event will give merchants and residents of Elmvale the opportunity to tip their hats to visitors and patrons to the community's second annual "Hats Off' Sidewalk Sale. The program promises to be bigger and better. There will be clowns, a cheer garden, free draws, free balloons, free lemonade, free give-a-ways, lucky draws, bargains galore, entertainment, refreshments, kiddie rides and fun for the whole family. The annual event again is being sponsored by the merchants of the Elmvale Chamber of Commerce. Visitors to Elmvale will have an SIDEWALK opportunity to shake hands with Scrooge who will be in the community to do some early Christmas shopping. Chances are he'll try and convince merchants to really slash their prices during this three-day extravaganza. Last year's sidewalk sale in Elmvale went into the history books as a major (successful) event and from all reports this week's ought to be as big...or even better. Elmvale has long been a mecca for local and area shoppers and this week, starting tomorrow, they're expected to flock to Elmvale for fun, excitement and bargains... By the way, keep your eyes open for special information booths concerning next year's Maple Syrup Festival in Elmvale and this fall's International Plowing Match which is to be held in the county south of Barrie.
