More bowlers are needed to fill the existing teams and possibly create two more teams to have a six team league. In Wednesday's ac- tion Tom Sauve's team took two out of three games from Don Bowling News McReady and Neil Ladouceur's team took two out of three from Leona Snell. Tom Sauve led the men with a 663 triple while Eilleen Lemesurier had 684 for the ladies. Robert Duquette rolled a high single of 256 for the men while Pauline Brabant had 242 for the ladies. Gary Yates won $2 by rolling a strike in the "jackpot"' draw. The MidlandPenetang Five Pin Bowlers Association held it's annual meeting on Sunday May 31. The various chair- people read off their annual reports and answered questions from the floor. Three members were elected for three year terms to the board of directors those being Ron Robitaille, Dennis Brabant and Albert Morin. Three contigents of bowlers will be par- ticipating in different Summer programs planned This summer will be a busy time for residents of Penetanguishene with the summer programs offered by the tO We 0 o f Penetanguishene Arena, Parks' and Recreation Departm- ent. The tennis courts at Memorial Park and McGuire Park will be open with students on duty and memberships are available. Costs for mem- berships are $5 for public school children, $10 for high school and university students, $15 for adults and $25 for a family. Pay as you play rates will also be available for those without mem- berships. They will also be offering two separate day camps in _ co- operation with the County of Simcoe Recreation Depart- ment, the first camp to begin July 13 at 1 p.m. That camp will run until July 24. The second camp will begin Aug. 10 at 1 p.m. and will conclude on Aug. 21. Fees for the camps are $15 per child for the two week periods with an optional sleep out for the kids. Tuesday se het in Penetanguishene Arena, Cumming-Ni- cholson Stompers outscored Dock Lunch Penguins 6-2. Cumming- Nicholson' Ss goal came on singles by Todd Lalonde, Jody Grimshaw, Mike Laurin, Fred Laurin, Chris Wright and Brian Reever. Seoring for Dock Lunch Penguins were Richard Genier and Greg St. Amant. Cumming-Nicholson Stompers outshot Dock Lunch 30-20, George Monahan playing in net for the Penguins and Ed Diver standing between the posts for Cumming- Nicholson. In the second game of the night, Pen-Mid Merchants edged out V. Robitaille Construction 2-1, Dave Desroches and Peter Desroches each getting singles for the Merchants. Martial Robitaille scored the lone marker for V. Robitaille. Brad Bumstead braved 19 shots in net for the Merchants while Guy Gignac faced 26 shots in net for V. Robitaille. In the final game, M. Forget Construction's Bryan Lethbridge led his team to a 3-1 win over E.G. Mink Insurance Premiums, Lethbridge scoring a paid of goals. Bill McIntosh added the third goal for M. Forget. The only player to score for E.G. Mink Insurance was Gary Baker. Playing in net for E.G. Mink was Roger Bell who faced 30 shots while Tom Duval faced 31 at the other end in net for M. Forget.
