nS ee Bowling News by Dennis Brabant The Midland-Pene- tang Five Pin Bowlers Association will be holding its annual meeting on Sunday May 31 at 1 p.m. at Knight Haven Lanes in Penetanguishene. Reports' will be presented by league executives regarding finances, tournaments, membership and lottery among other business. The meeting is open to all bowlers whether they are members or not. League executives are asked to attend as A.E. LePage novice lacrosse wins opener by Dave Chalmers The A.K. LePage novice lacrosse team opened it's schedule Wednesday night with a game in Gravenhurst and downed the home squad 8-1. Gravenhurst opened the scoring during the first period but a minute later, Jesse Perrault tied the game to even the score. Our five local master bowlers each took two Y.B.C. senior bowlers to Orillia last weekend to bowl in the master- senior tournament. Each master was teamed with a boy and girl for the six games with the top three teams winning prizes on a pins over average format.
