Class Notes Grade 1 class talked about Queen Elizabeth and where she lives for Victoria Day. Mrs. Willis and Mr. Hubbard's classes are going to the woodlot June 4. Mr. Hubbard, Mrs. Willis and Mrs. Tanner will have their class assembly on June 2. Mrs. Baker showed slides last Wednesday of Camp Kitchi to this year's Grade fours and their parents. Miss Morrison's class is working with metric measurement. Group IT had a fine time finding how much water various containers held, while Group I discovered their body measurements in metric units. They also paid a visit to the Tiny Marsh this past week with Mrs. Spring. Mr. Davies is almost ready for his assembly. Mrs. Trace's grade 8 art class will soon be outside sketching homes around Elmvale. This month we have had Derek and Elizabeth Scoular, Michelle Cooke, Jen- nifer Hampson, Ting, Joy and Wing Chan, Jason Veenstra and Wayne, Jimmy and Tammy Rogers all enrol in our school.
