Free help AnnualEDHS Day coming soon Students at Elmvale District High School will once again be celebrating EDHS Day this year and residents and businesspeople will be the ones benefiting. According to Graham Shaw, head of student services at school, requests have already begun filing in to the office, most of them repeats from last time around. EDHS Day, meaning Elmvale Deserves Help from Students, will be held on Thursday, June 4 and will involve high school students giving freely of their time and energy to help members of the community in any way they can. Throughout the day, young people will be of- fering free car washes, shopping services and a nursery school and will also be available for Spring concert tomorrow Trent Poole, left rear, and front from left, Greg Bush, Richard Desroches, and Suzanne Beausoleil are all members of the Ecole Secondaire whatever jobs are requested from Elmvale and area residents. Anyone who is interested in receiving free help from these students, can obtain work situation forms from either the young people themselves or in stores throughout the village. They can also contact the school and put in an order. Shaw noted that jobs should be geared to anything a teenager can accomplish. He went on to say he hoped more area businesses would take advantage of the day, as they are responsible for the many advertisements found in the annual Year Book and school paper the Blat as well as being the ones who supply funds for commencement and other activities. A car reported stolen from a factory parking lot turned up less than two hours later parked in a different location. The owner, Doris Ferguson, left her key s in her car in the parking lot of her place of work, Decor Metal Products on Centennial Drive, police said.
