St. Theresa's placed fourth overall in schools competition, their boys' Winning ways for ESPSS Ecole Secondaire Penetanguishene Secondary School athletes have a habit of finishing in the top spots when they complete in track and field meets, last Wednesday's Zone Two Track and Field Meet in Orillia being no exception. The results' are unofficial as of yet but it looks like ESPSS athletes will be claiming first place for their eight year in a row. Altogether, 36 ESPSS athletes qualified for yesterday's Georgian Bay Secondary School Association Track Meet at York University, those results not received yet. Carrie Fedorowich was by far ESPSS' top athlete, finishing as the overall midget girls' champion, Suzanne Desroches following in third. In boys' overall competition, ESPSS won with MSS second and ESPSS also placed second in girls' overall competition with MSS fourth. Top individual per- formances for St. Theresa's were demonstrated by Owen Quilty in midget boys who placed second overall with 29 points, finishing first in the 400 meter run, first in the long jump and second in the triple jump; Patti Cox in senior girls who placed first overall with 30 points, finishing first in 100 meter hurdles, 200 meter run and 400 meter run; Paul Cox in senior boys who placed first overall with 38 points, finishing first in high jump, long jump and 400 meter hurdles and second in triple jump; Jeff Dunn who placed third overall with 34 points, finishing first in the 100 meter run and second in the 200 meter run and the discus.
