Theophile St. Amant and Yvonne Gignac, predeceased him. | Surviving brothers and sisters are brothers Leo Ont Penetanguishene, and Jerome of Trenton, Ontario, and sister Elva St. Amant of Penetanguishene. Pallbearers were his nephews' Brian St. Amant, Michael St. Amant. Wayne St. Amant. Bobby St. Amant, Michael Couture, and George Desroches. Interment in St. Ann's Cemetery, Penetanguishene. Obituary Charles Martin The death occurred on April 1. 1981 of Midland native Charles Clifford Martin in Scarborough Centenary Hospital. Mr. Martin, a resident of St. Ralphael's Nur- sing Home, died at the age of 90 following a short illness. He was a widower, the hushand of the late Dorothv McCauley, who he married on May 2, 1912 After their marriage they lived in Wah Wah Taysee and Midland, Ontario. Twenty-five years ago Mr. Martin retired from his occupation as a Great Lakes sailor. He was a member of St. Margaret's Church, Midland, Ontario. His parents were the late Charles Martin and the late Mary McHugh. Surviving members of his immediate family are his sous Clifford, of West Hill, Ont.; Wallace, and Manley, both of Woodstock, Ont.: and his daughter, Marv. of Toronto. There were eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Fr. Sommerville officiated at the funeral service. which was held on April 4, 1981 in Nicholls Funeral Home, Midland.
