Dave Stone to be admitted into Order of St. John There's a very good reason for Dave Stone of Port MeNicoll, an emplovee at RCA, to be happv these days. Dave received word this week that he is to be "made" a 'Serving Brother'"' of the Order of St. John. Dave currently serves as divisional superin- tendent of St. John Ambulance. He has been con- nected with the movement for the past 11 vears. It is because of his dedication that Queen Elizabeth aprroved his appointment to Order of St. John. Word came through the Priory of Canada in Ottawa that the local St. John Ambulance of- ficial ; would be "made"' a "Serving Brother" at ceremonies to take place Oct. 23 in Ottawa. Dave couldn't hold back his excitement this week especially knowing that the queen had to approve allowing him to join the Order the Dave Stone which dates back to the time of the crusades. At the same ceremony it is understood several members of St. John Ambulance from across the country will be "Knighted" something Dave says he'll enjoy watching "after I have been made a "Serving Brother."
