Getting a charge out of science Jeff Bales of the Grade 8 class at Regent Public School in Midland took top honours recently in that school's science fair for his non-working model of a batterv, complete with explanation of the intricate workings. His placing came Organizational wheels rolling in Simcoe Rural Baseball Simcoe Rural Fasthall League's new personnel have been selected. They are President Brian Dutton of Wvebridge, Vice- President Bob Widdis of Vasev. Secretary-Tr- easurer Ron Johnson of Midland and Umpire Association Contact Wavne Miller of Midland. The league will be operating this year with nine of the original 10 teams from last season , Coldwater dropping out because of the long distances travelled and the costs involved. Returning to the league will be~Midland Athenian' Raiders, Vasev Twin Lakes, Vasev Royals, Elmvale, Phelnston, Hillsdale Hustlers, Perkinsfield, Wvevale and Wyebridge Warriors.
