Mrs. Mabel Despin reported for the social committee and Mrs. Hilda Savage for the taxi finances. She also said at the meeting this week there would be a demon- stration for the ladies on make-up. Mr. Murphy $an- nounced there would not be a meeting on March 19 owing to the election. He also announced a bus trip to Wonderworld at Maple would be on June 2. A report on cards to bereaved and ill from Mrs. Springthorpe was read. Mrs. Delia Murphy reported for the euchre games. A letter from Dr. H. C. Jileson was read expressing appreciation for the office size autoclave which the Georgian Club had procured for the Medical Centre with the Dominion Store Tape Plan. A Ceramic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Set had been donated by Mrs. Lucy Moreau and tickets will be sold on this set with the draw being made at the Summer Bazaar on July 11th. The theme for the World Day of Prayer for 1981 is The Earth is the Lord's. Final plans were made for this day with the 'non- denominational service in St. Mary's Church. Plans were also made for the St. Patrick's Day Tea on March 18. Volunteers are needed to help prepare the Hall on Tuesday, March 17 at 1 p.m. The following are the dates to remember -- March 18 - 2:30 to 5 p.m. St. Patrick's Day Tea: Tuesday, April 7 - Annual Membership Pot Luck Supper; Wed- nesday, May 10th -- Day of Recollection; St. Mary's Parish; Saturday, July 11 - Summer Bazaar.
