The two teams squared off in the first game. a 3-3 tie the result of that meeting. Penetanguishene then went the consolation round route, their first game pitting them against Barrie with Penetanguishene winning that game 2-1. Their next game was against Downsview in which Penetanguishene were downed 5-1. Downsview went on to win the consolation championship. Midland atoms went the other way into the championship rounds, their first game being against Elmvale with Midland taking that game 4-3. - Midland then played Streetsville in a game which they lost 5-1, eliminating them from Centennial Arena at 3 p.m. Sunday. That game will be followed up by a match between Midland minor Bantams and Sharon at 4:15 p.m. and another game _ between the Midland Major Atoms and Collingwood at 5:45 p.m. At7p.m., there will be a bantam house league practice for Smith- mobile and Cowen Construction and a midget house league practice will be held at 8 p.m. in*Midland Arena. further action.
