Four of the six play on Penetanguishene Kings Jr. C hockey club while two more play on Midland Centennials Jr. C hockey club. For the Kings, the players on the All-Star team will be Brad Copeland on left defence, Wayne Dixon on centre, Carl Cowan on right wing and Doug Gillespie on left wing. For the Midland Centennials, John Witzke on left defence and Ken Mugford on left wing will be representing that local club. The Penetanguishene Kings will also be represented behind the bench with Don Tannahill as acting coach for the all-star team and Peter Dubeau as acting manager of the team. The Georgian Bay All-Star Team will be playing in Gravenhurst Arena against the Mid-Ontario Jr. C League All-Star Team, that game getting un- derway at 8 p.m. The complete team will look like this: Paul Ryan, Gravenhurst Goal Steve Heittola, Huntsville Goal Brad Copeland, Penetanguishene L. Spiker has 22 goals, the closest competitor to him being Lance Kealy of Owen Sound Greys with 21 goals. Kealy is presently in second place for total points with 41 points. Midland Spiker has 40 points and is tied with Myles McCauley of Collingwood Shipbuilders in that position. Leading the league is Les Burgess of Collingwood Shipbuilders with 15 goals and 28 assists for 43 points. Burgess is tied with Steve Lyon of Georgetown Raiders for assists at 28, Lyon now ina tie for sixth place. A new face has joined the league leaders from Midland's team and that is Ken Knapton. Knapton has 17 goals and 20 assists for 37 points, placing him in fifth position SAS ====000 from Midland and for the first time in seven years, the results were more than encouraging. Seven of the 10 male skiers on the team finished in the top seven spots and they were in order of finishing: Kevin Cowden, Tim Leitch, Chris Heath, Mark Pinkney, Greg Schuh, Simon Moore and Mina Tessier. Matthew Leitch, Paul Northcott and Pat Beauchamp failed to place in the competition but still put on good showings. Stacey Leitch finished third in ladies' skiing while Adrean Brennan took fifth place. Stephanie Johnson was bedridden by the flu and could not compete in the weekend com- petition. McC's over Bill McCuaig of |* Penetanguishene Hotel Brule Oldtimers hockey club has been waiting a long time to score a goal but his long wait ended Saturday night in Collingwood Arena as the Penetanguishene team played to a 6-6 tie with the Collingwood Oldtimers. McCuaig scored one Pie Ona fOr Penetanguishene, his second goal in three years while Larry Banks recorded a hat ton Aevk Pont Penetanguishene. Alvin Robillard and Dave Stainton each got singles TOR: Penetanguishene in that game as well.
