The board has also come to the same conclusion about W.R. Best School and Duntroon School. The proposals have been turned over to the board's 1981 budget committee. Another committee told the board a great deal of time, cost and inconvenience resulted because students have to be transported to other schools with gymnasiums for certain activities. Taken into consideration were enrolment data and projections for the three schools; the after- school use of facilities which would be open to public use; and the need to provide facilities for an equitable basic education for students attending small schools.
