The club's Junior Chairman, Paul Quilty, described the event as a"great success, the best we've ever had." Fifty- two golfers were entered in the tournament. Each pair of entrants, one junior and one senior, played Chapman two- ball: players hit each others' drive for the second shots, and the best is chosen for the third. Low net winners were the father and son team of Jim and Tim Tully, with 53. Other winners were: 2nd low gross: Chester Graham and _ junior partner John Quilty, 72; 3rd low gross Bill and Glenn Joward, 73; 2nd low net Larry Green and Dave Desroches, and Larry Banks and Owen Quilty, 58; 4th low net Leo and Jerry Richard, 59.
