This privilege is naturally subject to training requirements which take priority. In the interest of safety for personnel who wished to use the training areas, policy was introduced prior to the 1977 fall hunting season which required all mem- bers to obtain a range pass from the range control office, building 0-102, room 126. This procedure was determined to be necessary to safeguard both hunters and individuals training in the area. The same hazards do not exist for fishing. Effective 05 May 78 members of the Rod and Gun Club may fish in the training area south of the Lisle Road without securing a pass. They must still check the range safety map located at the club house prior to proceeding to the area and must carry the normal club identification. In addition they must have the club sticker on their POMV. When __ troops are booked into specific areas then these areas are out of bounds for fishing or movement.
