And you'll be pleased to know that the cost of licencing your car has escalated again this year. For those eight cylinder gas guzzlers the price for a licence will be $60. If 'ou drive a smaller and slightly more economical six cylinder, the cost for a new licence is $45. And if you're lucky enough to have an economy four cylinder you can get away with $30 for the new licence. The people who get hit the worst are the new car buyers who are licencing their cars for the first time. If they're over 397 cubic centimetres the cost for a licence will be $80. This year is another "sticker" year however, if your plates have been badly damaged and the numbers are illegible new plates will only cost you $2 a set.
