Proud great grandmother, Mrs. Mayme Kelly, Phelpston. 9 DEATHS Harold Hamilton Todd Champion died December 18th in Dufferin Area Hospital, Orangeville, Ontario at the age of sixty-five. He was born in Penetanguishene and attended school there. His banking career of 22 years began in the Bank of Toronto in Penetanguishene. ||| health forced him to give this up and he became & field manager with the Fuller Brush Co. for twenty years. At the time of death he had been retired for five years. "Champ" as he was commonly called, was known for his musical abilities. In the late 1940's his piano playing was amplified on Broadway, Orangeville for evening shoppers. In 1944 Mr. Champion married Barbara Scott of Markdale, Ontario. He is survived by his wife, one son, Raymond Paul of Calgary and two daughters, Deanna Gail of Caledon and Elizabeth Todd (Mrs. L.J. Holowaty) of Calgary. He Is also survived by one brother, Cecil of Orlando, Florida. Mr. Champion was predeceased by his parents, James and Lillian C of Penetang and one brother, Raymond of Toronto. Memorial services were held at Knox United Church, Caledon with Reverend L. Woods and Reverend Donald Stiles (a former Caledon minister and family friend) officiating. 9 Hall - P.J.
