Judges have difficult task in choosing three downtown window art winners Marie Moreau a fourth year art student at - Seco- Penetanguishene ndary School won the Christmas window decorating contest for her Smiling snowman Ruth Rose and Vince Moreau score a painting on the window at Stoneleigh Motors on Saturday. It took the four judges well over an hour to judge all the paintings done by 29 different Penetanguishene Secondary School students. Michelle was the only contestant who constructed a scene out of papermache and props. She made a living room Christmas scene with Christmas tree, fireplace, a rug on the floor and a picture on the wall. April Copeland in year five art, won an honourary mertion for her picture on the left hand side of the Mac- donald's Hardware window. Along with Kris, Gary King in third year art and Patricia Gilligan in fourth year art, won honourary mentions for their pictures in the Hotel mention for his picture on the window of Huronia Brule and the Water and Light windows respec- tively.-Tim Hook received the last honourary An A plus for you The four judges in Rose, Vince Robillard, Stella Brunelle was Seniors' Club member Stella (Beaudoin) Brunelle of Lafontaine passed away on December 14, 1977 at the Penetanguishene General Hospital. Mrs. Brunelle suffered a brief illness. Services were held at St. Anne's Memorial Church, and were presided over by Father Louis Dignard. Mrs. Brunelle was in her 86th year. She has been a life-long resident of this area, and activities included Ladies of St. Anne of Lafontaine and the Penetanguishene Senior Citizen's Club. She is pre-deceased by her husband Albert Brunelle and daughter Agnes. The judging took well over an hour to do and all the judges admitted that it was an extremely difficult task. Each window display was marked out of 10 in two categories, by each Janet Stalker Stalker of died Wednesday, December 7 at the Penetanguishene General Hospital. Miss Stalker suffered a brief illness.
