The provisions of the By-Law are as follows: 1. No person shall set a fire in the open air to burn grass, leaves or debris on streets, roads, public highways, and privately owned property during the period from April 1st to October 31st of each year without first obtaining permission and a signed permit from the Fire Chief, and/or the Deputy Chief.
