Tent Fire: Two holiday campers received burns after attempting to start a campfire by pouring white gas on it. Five-year- old Daryll Robbie and Gil Laplante, 26, of West Hill were camping at Six Mile Lake Provincial Park when their tent caught fire. Robbie was rushed to Huronia District Hospital with second degree burns on the back of his legs and waist. Laplante received minor burns. Damage to the tent trailer is estimated at $350. Four Injured Seriously in Car Collision: Four people were rushed to hospital with major injuries as a result of a car collision on Balm Beach Rd. approximately one mile west of County Rd. 6. A car driven by Kevin Hebner of Midland was apparently heading eastbound and was in the westbound lane when it collided with a car driven by Rose Anne Lesperance of Perkinsfield. The accident occurred at 1:10 a.m. on July 3. Hebner is charged with careless driving and the damage to the two cars is estimated at $4,000. Peek-a-Boo Trail Accident: Injuries resulted on July 2 when an eastbound car on Peek-A-Boo Trail in Tiny Township failed to negotiate a sharp turn Car Brian Kelso of Scar- borough was driving and received minimal injuries when the car skidded into the ditch and hit a telephone pole. Kelso had two passengers from Agincourt with him at the time, John Bell received major injuries and William: Vella received minor ones. All were taken to Penetanguishene General Hospital by ambulance. Mini Bike Collided with Car: Paul Passfuime of Toronto was driving his mini bike on a Georgian Bay Township sideroad and failed to make a turn, colliding with the car of George Smith of Toronto. Passafuime _ suffered major injuries and his passenger 9-year-old Tina Lanzarotta of Weston suffered minor injuries. The accident occurred at 9:30 a.m. on July 1 and no charges have been laid Pedestrian Hit on High- way 12: Sixteen-year-old David Knicely of Fesserton was struck by a car on High- way 120n July 3. Knicely was crossing the highway and stopped at the pavement to look north but failed to check the traffic coming south and was hit by Melvin Papke of Chelmsford Knicely was rushed to Huronia District Hospital with major injuries and was later transferred to Sick Children's Hospital in Toronto. No charges have been laid and there is ap- proximately $200 damage to Papke's car.
