Tammy has been in- volved to a great degree County leadership seminar for women Are you interested in becoming involved in sports or a women's group in your home area? The Experience '77 "*WOMEN IN RECREATION" Prog- ram 50A is concerned about the desire of women to become involved in coaching and group organization but don't because they believe they don't have the needed leadership qualities. This summer, the community workers for program 50A in Simeoe County are going to present an in- formation seminar for women. The-goal of the day presentation is to give women of the community an op- portunity to meet the different women's ~ clubs and groups and to discover the groups ob- jectives. A representative from the Canadian Coaching Development will give a presentation of the program and give information on how you can benefit from the program It is hoped that women who attend this seminar will find a group to meet their personal needs and it will give them knowledge as to what is available for them to develop their leadership skills. In this way, the women's sports activities and recreation events will develop by getting women involved in their own sports organizations. If you would like to attend this seminar please contact Sadie van Beest or Judy Perkin at the Greater Huronia Sports Council at 726- 9300 Extension 212. Don't let your children keep you from attending, bring them along as baby sitting service will be offered at no expense to you while the seminar is in progress. thletes Pat Adamson, Kevin Watt, Marlene Amos, Kim Jar- man, Susan Todd and Nancy Knibbs. Moriarity, Adamson, and Amos gained special recognition in the Tay Medonte and the Area Three meets. in various activities in- cluding Kiwanis Festivals, figure skating and 4-H clubs. She is a self starter with a good deal of initiative and creative ability and takes on challenges with enthusiasm and _ par- ticipation within com- munity functions, such as Fall Fairs, local festivals and with efforts which involve cooperation and service to others. Mr. Baker said in his estimation Tammy was an excellent choice as a representative of good citizenship in Moonstone School and community. = BS WYCLIFFE ANGLICAN CHURCH ELMVALE AUCTION SALE Of donated household articles All proceeds to Stubbs Memorial Hall Building Fund Milt Trace, Auctioneer JULY 9th, 11:00 a.m. , AT THE CHURCH &.
