Visitors during the weekend with Mr. and Mrs.' Manley Edwards were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Johnston and Lisa, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Edwards all of Barrie, Mrs. Eric Curry of Wyebridge and Debbie Curry and friend of Guelph. Mrs. Charles Brown has returned home after visiting Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Nixon in Toronto last week. Saturday, visitors with the Browns were Mr. and Mrs. Don Bell, Diane, Melissa and Sheldon of Crossland. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Ken Robinson who will celebrate their fortieth wedding an- niversary on June 26. Mrs. J. Bell of Unionville is spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Melvern Isaac and Janet. The United Church Women will meet at the home of Mrs. Ken Rumney on Tuesday June 26 at 6:30 p.m. for a picnic supper and a fun evening. The ladies are reminded to bring their items for the auction. Mrs. Frank Tate is visiting Mrs. George McLay this week. Janet Isaac entertained a number of friends at a miscellaneous _ bridal shower for Sheila Chapman last Wednesday evening. Visitors during the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rumney were Mr. Goldwin Faint of Blackstock, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Sharp and Trudy of Scarboro. They all, along with Mr. and Mrs. Ross Faint attended the family gathering at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Calder Hunter of Crossland on the occasion of the for- tieth wedding an- niversary of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Robinson and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Faint. Mrs. John Moriarty and Eddie went to St. Catharines on Sunday to meet the ship, as Eddie is taking a trip with 'his father for a week or so. Gregory Edwards is spending some holidays with his sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Gratrix and family of Peterboro. Visitors with Mrs. Hazel Taylor during the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Ron, Devitt and Douglas, ahd Mrs. Leona Devitt all of Oshawa and Mrs. Jean Fallis of Midland. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Faint and family of Port Dover spent the past week with Mr. and Mrs. Ross Faint. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Rumney spent the weekend in Beaconsfield, Que. with Mr. and Mrs. John Caffrey and family. Spending a few days with the Rumneys are Mrs. Digby Elliott and Molly of Waterloo. Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Ted Vasey were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Drury and family of Dalston, Bernice Vasey of Barrie and Ian Vasey of Hamilton. Mrs. Susan Vancamp and Stan attended the Strath picnic at Earl Rowe Park, Alliston on Sunday. Mrs. Doug Bernard and girls of Owen Sound visited on Friday with Mrs. Craig Painter and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lambie of Phelpston visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Earl y dwards. The regular morning 'Service of the Vasey United Church will commence at 9:45 on Sunday, June 26. Tim Allems of Brooklin is spending some holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Grant Robinson and boys.
