The bus will be passing through Waubaushene at 8 a.m. and the delegates are to bring their own lunch and beverage will be served. The World Day of Prayer will be held in the Waubaushene Memorial Church on March 4, at 7:30 p.m. It is hoped the - guest speaker will be the Rev. John Allsop. The members of the UCW, Anglican Guild and Catholic Women will provide a light lunch following the service. On May 12, at 8 p.m. in the same Church Mrs. Irene Vasey will give a talk and show film on Mission Work. The secretary Mrs. Polkinghorne will write and invite the members of the Coldwater, Eady United Church Women and the Anglican Guild. A post card from Rev. and Mrs. Ralph Pickering was passed around for the members to read. A tentative date of June 11 was set for a garage sale to be held by the three Women's groups of the three Churches. Georgian Seniors get $24,777 grant The Georgian Shores Swinging Seniors recently received a $24,777 grant from Health and Welfare Canada. The grant, awarded through the federal government's New Horizons' program will be used to establish and equip a drop-in center whose activities will include arts and crafts, dworking, shuffle- Gttked: pool, horseshoes and indoor games.
