Silvanna Zapponi will be seen as Morgan Le Fey, Richard Holt as Mordred and _ Peter Knight as Pellinore. A small instrumental ensemble, directed by Phyllis McCullough, will add gloss to the delightful musical score. The 40-member cast is directed by Raymond Holt and Chris Thomson. Thomson, MSS librarian, sees the production of musical comedies as valuable experiences for the students involved. '"'It makes a nice memory for them," he said, "and the big advantage of a musical is that we can work so many kids into the cast." Expenses will be high for this production. Over $400 has been paid in royalties, and in order to bring the full spectrum of colour and pageantry to the stage, special costumes have been rented. In the past, public response to high school musical productions has been gratifying, and this year should be no ex- ception. Camelot with its graceful melodies, colour and festivity is a natural for the Christmas season. Rev. John Allsop gave the Blessing. The President Rita Polkinghorne welcomed the members to the Christmas meeting especially the ones who have been absent for sometime through illness. Mrs. Ilene Bell conducted the devotional period with a reading interspersed with the members singing verses from three dif- ferent Hymns, "O Little Town of Bethlehem", "While Shepherds Watched Their Flock By Night" and "Joy To The World'. Mrs. Jefferis read the scripture telling of the Birth of Christ. The roll call was an- swered with each member reading from the Hymn and Prayer Book something with the word "Love"' in it. Christmas gifts will be sent to the Church's sick and shut- ins. Mrs. Polkinghorne and some of the other members attended the special evening put on by the Coldwater U.C.W. last Wednesday. She said a letter had been received from Rev. Ralph Pickering who is ministering in Jamaica and he requested summer type clothing for children ages 4-12 years and light weight clothing for older ladies. They are in dire need of these things.
