The Bellaires will provide the music for a dance Saturday evening beginning at 9:00 p.m. Fair programs, listing all categories for entering are now available and have been sent to all members. Lorraine Orr The Canadiana Mystery History tour took its travellers to the site of St. Ignace Church where Father Brebeuf was burned to death by the Indians. The site was discovered by a_ local lumberman, Alphonse Arpen and is now marked by an altar and historical plaque. Mr. Arpen's original log cabin still stands on the property on Hwy No. 12 at Pt. MeNicoll. The tour then visited the grave of Alphonse Arpen at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Cemetery. The trip continued to Penetang's Roman Catholic . Church of Canadian Martyrs and St. James on the Line Anglican church, built in 1836 for the officers of the Garrison. Tea was enjoyed at Thunder Bay _ before returning to Coldwater. A general meeting of Canadiana will be August 31. Everyone is invited to witend.
