The Fort York Guard represents a _ Royal Regiment of the 1804-1816 period, dressed in red coats and grey pants. The headgear is a_ high, stovepit type with tufts on the left side, termed a "Waterloo shakoe". Each man carries an India Pattern flint-lock musket. The Establishments Guard will be in the 24th Regiment of Foot Uniform with white trousers and green trim on the red coats. They too will carry the India Pattern 'Brown Bess" musket. The 12-man Establish- ments Guard and the 14-man Fort York Guard will execute a number of infantry drill including artillery firing of the one- pound field gun, as well as one of the large cannon at the Establishments.
