The Victoria Harbour and District ladies would like to thank all the people that donated and worked at the Bazaar and bake Sale. The new Donut booth was a big success. Milvert Reid of Lucknow won the quilt. Mr. and Mrs. Don Eplett and family from Mitchel spent a week in their old home town. Cawaja association elects its officers Mr. Frank Keough was elected president at the annual and_ general meeting of the Cawaja Property owners Association held on July 3 George Bilton was named vice-president while Colin Parsons will serve as secretary Earle Elliott. Marian Rzepecki, George Troyer and Mary Vipond were elected directors and officers of the association Mrs. Mary MeMulkin was named treasurer Two will be selected for United Nations bus trip The Ministry of Agriculture and Food will once again be conducting the United Nations Bus Tour as an award trip to recognize an outstanding contribution to 4H, Junior Farmers and Community activities within the county . Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 29, be in good health, and should have com- pleted at least three year's activities in a 4H Club and should be a current member of a Junior Farmer Club. The tour is scheduled for August 22-August 28. The itinerary will include Pennsylvania State University, Washington D.C. and the U.N. in New York City A deposit of $60.00 is required with the ap- plication. '*'Junior Farmer Leadership Camp" The provincial leadership training camp for selected rural youth will be held from Sep- tember 5-12, 1976 at the Ontario Leadership Centre at Irondale in Haliburton County. Applicants must be between the ages of 16 and 24 years as of January 1, 1976. North Simcoe is allowed to send one boy and one girl. The purpose of the camp is to. provide prospective leaders with a training experience which will assist them in becoming more effective in local youth activities. Maple Tour--July 22 The Ontario Maple Syrup Producers' Association will be holding its annual Summer Tour in North Simcoe next month. The tour starts at 9 a.m. on July 22nd at the Midhurst Forest Station with a tour of the nursery. It then goes on to Hillsdale Potato Farms and three sugarbushes in the Elmvale Area. The tour concludes at 5 o'clock with a supper at Bishop's Park in Elmvale. Soil and Crop. Twilight Meeting The North Simcoe Soil and Crop Improvement Association will be holding their annual Twilight Meeting on Thursday, July 15th. The location is the Crop Demonstration Area on County Road 11, east of Midhurst. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.
