Photo by Charlotte Gerdes Old time family picnic last week by E. Lorraine Orr The area around "Coldwater Canadiana was alive with children's laughter last week when families gathered for an old-time family picnic at the Log House. Pony rides, a fish pond and many different races entertained the children while the adults were able to enjoy bingo and horse- show pitching. Reminiscent of days gone by was the charge of only ten cents for all rides and games. During a quiet time the picnickers were en- tertained by Rebecca Hass, singing a number of john Denver songs and accompanying herself on the guitar. Bagpipe music was provided by Bill Grant of Orillia. Many in attendance added to the-atmosphere by wearing period costumes.
