The first two classes filled up so quickly that the Y decided to offer you another course. On Monday, May 31 classes will be conducted at the Mental Health Centre. One class will begin at 7 p.m. and the other at 8 p.m. Both beginner and experienced players are welcomed to join the classes as many aspects of tennis will be taught. Jim Hill our instructor will be teaching his students, the grip, stance forehand, backhand, serve and many drills to get you in shape for this year's game. There is limited registration. Canoe workshop The Y program dept. is offering a canoe workshop Tuesday May 25 at the YMCA on Hugel Avenue. This workshop is designed for those at a beginner and in- termediate level and will begin at 7 p4m. With the nice weather coming boating and canoeing will soon start. Here's a chance for you to have a safe summer on the water. This will be a brief help you with your children through the summer months by keeping them busy in a recreational setting.
